The MES PTO Carnival was a huge success Friday evening! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to prepare and help with the event. One of the Bridgewater College students asked me if MES does this every year. I said yes. She was impressed by that and stated that her school “never did anything this cool”. The enjoyment on the faces of the students is priceless! I enjoy seeing the interactions between children, families and staff members as everyone gathers in the same space to have some fun.

I especially want to thank the PTO Board for working on all of the details of the event. Several parents worked throughout the day on Friday to help get ready for the event then stayed through the event and cleanup. Many MES staff members taught or worked with kids all day, and then stayed to support the event. I am sure they were all very tired after a week of working with children.

The musical event held Thursday evening also involved many staff members and families. The students did a great job and kept us entertained as they performed musical selections. Thanks to everyone who supported that effort as well.

The level of dedication to children, as displayed in this event, is one of the most impressive aspects of the MES community. I greatly appreciate the energy, passion and commitment that exists around the school. I appreciate the work that goes into making school more than just a place to sit in a classroom.

MES is a great school! It takes great people doing great things to make that happen. Thank you!!!
